Congratulations to the Hopewell HS Boys Volleyball team for qualifying for the 2025 WPIAL Playoffs.
The Vikings finished the season with an overall record of 8-8 and 5-4 in the section.
Today the WPIAL released the brackets for the upcoming playoffs and Hopewell learned their opponent for the first round.
Hopewell received a No. 9 seed and will take on No. 8 seed Derry in the first round. Derry finished in 1st place in Class 2A/Section 1 with an overall record of 11-5 and 8-0 in section.
That 1st round match will take place on Tuesday at Derry High School and will start at 7 PM.
If Hopewell can beat Derry, they would then take on No. 1 seed Shaler on Thursday.
