HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP– A complete team effort leads the Hopewell HS Softball team to a 10-0 win over Beaver Falls.
With the win, Hopewell picks up their second section win of the season and their second win in their last three games.
When you shut someone out, the postgame discussion has to start with the pitcher. Senior Allison Ramaley pitched a gem as she went 5 scoreless innings, allowing just 3 hits, 0 walks and a season-high 9 strikeouts. For the game, Ramaley threw 60 pitches, 44 of which were strikes.
Offensively, the Hopewell hitters picked up a season-high 11 hit, including a triple a piece from Ramaley and freshman Lillian Otto.

Marina Pinchotti, Ramaley, Otto and Gianna Rossi picked up 2 hits apiece, while Abigail Babinsack, Dakota Roche and Teagan Scully also picked up hits.
RBI collectors for the Vikings were Ramaley with 2 and Babinsack, Otto, Rossi, Kamryn Roche and Scully each collected an RBI.

For the third straight game, the Hopewell defenders played a solid game in the field, committing just 1 error. In their last 3 games, Hopewell has not committed more than 1 error in each game.
