HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP– The Hopewell HS Boys Volleyball team kicked off their 2025 season with a non-section match against the Moon Tigers.
The Vikings battled with Moon, going 4 sets, before ultimately falling short.
The first two sets were tightly contested with Moon taking the opening set 25-23. However, behind strong play at the net and solid defense, Hopewell rebounded in the second set, winning 25-19, which squared the match at one set apiece.
In the third and fourth sets, Moon was the better team and regained control of the match and ultimately securing the victory.
Hopewell will get back at it this afternoon when they travel to Keystone Oaks for their first section match of the season.
In the first match of the day, Hopewell’s JV team was able to pull out the victory. Nice job Vikings!
