It was quite day for the Hopewell 3rd grade boys travel basketball team.
Tonight at M7, the Vikings took on South Fayette in the Silver Bracket Championship Game.
After losing to them twice this season, the Vikings played their best game of the season in the biggest game and soundly defeated South Fayette, 32-18.
Head coach Rob Orie and his assistants Craig Bokor and Craig Biller worked tirelessly on their offense, back-screening, dribble drive, etc. and tonight it worked to perfection.
This wasn’t an easy offense to pick up for 3rd graders and despite not always enjoying success, they stayed with it and continued to put the work in.
Tonight it was a near flawless performance, led by Lincoln Bokor, who scored a game-high 20 points.

The other huge aspect to tonight’s clinic was the job ALL Hopewell players did rebounding, both offensively and defensively.
