Vikings Sports Now wanted to let you know about a great event going on this Saturday in Hopewell.
We hope that you’ll make plans to attend the 9th annual Holly Jolly Christmas Concert this Saturday at Hopewell High School. The show begins at 7 PM.
Along with hearing some great Christmas music, you’ll be helping out two areas as proceeds are split between the band and music programs (4th thru 12th grade) at Hopewell High School, along with children’s programs at B.F. Jones Library.
Here’s another way that this special event will help out. The Hopewell Band will be going to Disney this year for their band trip and Dave Bufalini (organizer of this concert) will be giving $5.00 towards their trip for every ticket a band member sells. So, if you know someone in the hand, tell the folks at the door when you purchase your tickets to credit the student with how many tickets you purchase.
Adult tickets are $20.0, while student tickets are $5.00 and anyone 6 and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
In terms of the show, Bufalini and the show organizers are having a number of talented local musicians.
*Nashville based singer/songwriter, Bailey ‘BayTay’ Taylor Steratore
*KDKA meteorologist Mary Ours (which is an extremely talented singer)
*Rick Witkowski
*Hopewell grad Bobby Thompson
*Hermie Granati
*Jim Spears
*Greg McIltrot
*Joe Munroe
*Fred Delu
*Jordan Taylor
*Syndey Taylor
*Dan Taylor
*Kelsey Steele
*Hopewell grads David Bufalini, Glen Belvis and Jeff Davis
This show will have professional sound and lights and a 40-foot screen to be used in the show. The high school drumline will perform as well as the high school chorus.
Plus, for the young children in attendance, Santa and Frosty will be making an appearance and Bailey will be performing a song with the youngsters at the show.
If you can’t attend the show in person, there is a Livestream link available to purchase for $20.00.
