Devastation struck a local family business earlier this week as Cesina’s Sausage Company in Aliquippa was substantially damaged by fire on Monday afternoon.
The company is owned by the Costanza family and has been a staple in Beaver County for nearly 60 years.
Firefighters responded to the fire around 4 PM and battled the blaze for nearly 3 hours, luckily none of the firefighters were injured.
While no individuals were hurt, Cesina’s Sausage Company suffered severe damage to the inside. This has always been one of their busiest times of the year, which is unfortunate for the business and the many people around the area that enjoy their product.
The only good news out of this is that the Costanza family have no to stay closed permanently and are making plans to restore the business, but it won’t be easy.

A Go Fund Me has been established to help with getting Cesina’s Sausage Company back up and running. If you’re in a position to do so, I encourage to help out in any way you can.

All funds raised through this Go Fund Me will be used to help Cesina’s Sausage rebuild their facility so they can return to doing what they love: supplying the best Italian sausage to the local community. The Costanza family have always been active members in the community and have a long track record of giving back and assisting others. Let’s do the same for them.
Vikings Sports Now wishes the best of luck to John Costanza, Charlene Costanza and the rest of his family with this rebuild effort. It won’t be easy, but it wasn’t easy building Cesina’s Sausage Company 60 years ago and turning it into what it became.
Best of luck and VSN will continue to update the community on the progress being made.
