Mike Vukovcan After tremendous success last year, I’m happy to announce that the Shulligan’s Sports Bar & Grille/Vikings Sports Now golf tournament is returning for a second year!
Following the feedback received from last year and the money that we were able to raise for both ‘Rush to Crush Cancer’ and the “Alzheimer’s Association’, the founder of this event, Mike Shutak was eager to do it again and try and make it better.
“At Shulligan’s we have a personal interest in sponsoring this special event,” said Shutak. “We battled cancer together as a family and now strive to make a difference by supporting Hillman Cancer Center’s efforts to achieve the extraordinary: life without cancer.”
“Like so many others, breast cancer is a very personal cause for our family. My wife Renee was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. After a long physical and emotional journey involving a bilateral mastectomy and chemotherapy, we are blessed to be celebrating survival. Renee is touched each and every day working at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center where she is surrounded by patients fighting this battle. Our daughter is also a member of the Hillman Cancer Center team as an oncology nurse supporting so many patients through treatment every day.”

Golf Tournament Date (Rain or Shine): Saturday, August 8th
7:30 AM RegistrationÂ
8:00 AM Shotgun Start
Place: Beaver Valley Golf Club
Cost: $125 per golf, $500 per team
Beer, Beverages and Hots Dogs will be available to all golfers during the round, and a dinner will be served following the event.
Deadline to register is July 8th
Teams will be registered on a first-come, first serve basis. Payment is due with registration.
