Good luck Vikings from the Wayne N. Tatalovich family
The Hopewell HS football program received some big news as we’re approaching the start of the 2026 season.
The WPIAL has ruled that two incoming transfers are eligible to play for Hopewell this incoming season.
Senior OG and DE Anthony Hage and junior OT Sincere Campbell will be suiting up for HC Matt Mottes and will provide much needed depth on both sides of ball.

Hage arrives after previously playing for South Side High School, while Campbell has been a 2-year starter at Woodland Hills.
It’s yet to be determined how much these two will play, especially immediately, but at the very least, they’ll provide options for the Hopewell coaches.
Campbell is an interesting player because of his experience starting at Woodland Hills and the fact that he’s 6’3″ and 320 pounds. He’s a mammoth player that could be assigned to provide backside protection to 4-star quarterback James Armstrong.

Hage also comes with varsity experience and could be used as an offensive guard, while also joining the rotation as a rush end in DC Wayne Tatalovich’s defense.
This Saturday, Hopewell will take part in a scrimmage at Farrell High School before opening the 2026 regular season at home next Friday against Avonworth.
