The Hopewell Boys Bowling team is hoping their special 2024-25 regular season continues tonight.
After finishing the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record, the Vikings and 23 other teams will compete tonight in the WPIBL Championships.
Hopewell enters the playoffs as the No. 16 ranked team in the tournament. This will be Hopewell’s second straight trip to the playoffs and third in the last four seasons.
This action will take place at the Mt. Lebanon Lanes with action starting at 5 PM.
The way it works today is that each team will bowl 3 standard games and will enter a final team score. The teams with the 3 highest scores will then take part in a single elimination tournament to determine a winner and take home the championship rings. Keep in mind though, the Top 16 teams will move onto the regionals.

The Hopewell roster for the playoffs tonight will be senior captain Daniel Earley, senior captain Reese Jacobs, senior captain Colin Roessler, junior Brayden Mowry, sophomore Ayden Gault, sophomore Aidan Heppner, freshman Max Butter and freshman Nolan Houy.
While the Hopewell Boys will start action tonight, the Hopewell Girls Bowling team will competition tomorrow.
The Lady Vikings (6-4) will be making their first playoff appearance since 2017 and will enter as the No. 17 ranked team in the tournament.
The Lady Vikings playoff roster will consist of senior captain Marissa Platko, senior captain Jenna Willy, senior Baylen Carmichael, senior Gianna Krayniewski, senior Desiree Shepherd, sophomore Krysten Clary, sophomore Danica Jackson and sophomore Annabeth Sembower.

It’s been a tremendous season for both teams and let’s hope it continues past today!
