Mike Vukovcan One of the exciting developing stories concerning one Hopewell Fall sports teams is the development of a young athlete.
Noah Honess is a freshman on the Hopewell Boys varsity golf team, and he’s gotten off to a tremendous start.
Golf is a difficult sport to begin with and when you combine that with being a first-year player, that makes it even more challenging.
To his credit, Honess hasn’t been affected and has been the Vikings top golfer in the early part of the schedule.
In two matches last week, Honess shot a 38 on Tuesday against Beaver Falls and a 39 on Thursday against South Side.
Because of that performance, Honess is a candidate this week for the Beaver County Times HS Golfer of the Week.
