Mike Vukovcan Anyone with eyes and common sense knew that it was only a matter of time until the recruitment of Hopewell quarterback James Armstrong’s recruitment went crazy, that time has arrived.
This evening, Armstrong received word that he’s received an offer from Kirby Smart and Georgia. This huge news comes after the coaches from Georgia were at Hopewell HS talking to Vikings HC Matt Mottes.
”Georgia is one of the best programs in the country and it makes me feel great that they have interest in me,” Armstrong tells Vikings Sports Now. “I love everything they have to offer.”
This becomes the biggest offer for Armstrong with previous ones from Pitt, Penn State, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Duke, North Carolina, Florida State, Syracuse and Colorado.
Vikings Sports Now hears that more schools are scheduled to visit Hopewell in the coming days so more offers could be on the way.
