The Hopewell Vikings Indoor Track and Field team is on fire!
Just a week after breaking three school records at a tournament at Youngstown State, two Hopewell athletes broke two more records today at a tournament at the University of Akron.
**Connor Progar broke his indoor school record again, jumping 13 feet on the pole vault.
**Josh Brunton broke the indoor school record for the 400m with 54.82.
*Although it was a school record, a shoutout to Madi Inderelst, who had 2 huge personal best performances with 1:07.57 in the 400m and 29.54 in the 200m.
Coach Brunton and the Vikings squad won’t compete in an event this week and instead will practice and get prepared for a meet at Mount Union on February 2nd.
