Earlier this week, VSN profiled Hopewell senior golfer Mason LaSala and his accomplishments this golf season.
Things started with Mason winning the MAC Championship, followed by becoming one of 36 golfers qualify for the individual WPIAL Championships on Tuesday at Valley Brook Country Club.
In order to qualify for the State Championships, LaSala would need to finish in the Top 18.
Unfortunately, LaSala wasn’t able to do that as he finished in 25th place, which was a tremendous accomplishment in itself. Not bad for a kid that just started playing golf a few years ago.
Congrats Mason on a job well done!
