As we finish up our coverage of the Hopewell Vikings Week One win over Avonworth and move ahead to this week’s matchup against Chartiers Valley, we wanted to share with you another interview that VSN did after the game.
Friday night’s win was a complete team effort and had many players that played huge parts in the win.
Two of those players were junior running back Nasir ‘Bruiser’ Wade and junior cornerback/wide receiver Tre Cameron.
Cameron finished the game with 2 catches for 30 yards and also had the task of guarding Avonworth 4-star wide receiver Jaden Jones, for which he did a tremendous job.
Wade was Hopewell’s workhorse out of the backfield with 20 carries for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Following the game, VSN spoke with both Wade and Cameron about the win and their performances.
