Mike Vukovcan There’s nothing like playing in tournaments as teams play teams from different towns and kids get the opportunity to take home either a ring or a trophy.
For the last couple of weekends, VSN has been reporting on tournaments that the various Hopewell All-Star teams have been participating in.
Two weeks ago, the Hopewell 10-year-old All-Star team won the South Side Tournament!

For years, the various age levels in Hopewell Youth Baseball have hosted tournaments and that will continue this weekend.
Starting on Friday night, Hopewell will host a 7-year-old All-Star tournament at the Kane Road Complex.
Games will start on Friday and will conclude on Sunday. Teams from Avonworth, Blackhawk, Central Valley, North Fayette, Ambridge, South Park and Bethel Park will be competing.
The Hopewell team will be in action on Friday at 7 PM against Central Valley and then again on Saturday against Ambridge at 2 PM.
If you have time this weekend, the fields will be filled with action and  the concession stand will be filled with food.
