Mike Vukovcan A good development opportunity will be available for boys and girls in Hopewell during the month of July.
A “Little Dribblers Camp” will be taking place for kids in Kindergarten thru 2nd grade.
The dates of this date are July 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th and this will take place at the Hopewell Junior High Gym B. Each practice will last from Noon until 1:15 PM.
The children will be coached by Craig Biller and Brandon Ambrose with the focus being on shooting, footwork and ball handling.
The total cost of this camp is $60.
A second basketball activity will also be taking place for boy’s and this will last a bit longer.
A Hopewell Youth Skills and 3 on 3 League will also be starting up next week.
Here are the details of this fun and rewarding program-
*Players will be evaluated on the first day and placed on even teams based on grade and ability. These teams will remain the same through the remaining dates for the league, unless the coaches feel a change is necessary from a competitive standout.
*Each session will include the following:
-35 minutes of skill development with the focus on improving shooting, footwork, and ball handling.
–Following the skill development, their will be two 15 minutes 3 on 3 games daily.
The dates and times for this will be July 9th, July 11th, July 16th, July 18th, July 23rd and July 25th at the Hopewell Junior High School- Gym B.
-Boy’s entering grades 3-4 (as of fall 2025): 12:00 PM-1:15 PM
-Boy’s entering grades 5-6 (as of fall 2025): 1:15 PM-2:30 PM
The cost of this camp is : $90 per player.
