vikingssportsn The 2026–2027 varsity hockey season is officially underway as the team has taken to the ice for the start of practices.
This season brings together players from six schools under the Central Valley co-op program, creating a strong team with athletes from across the area.
Hopewell is well represented on this year’s roster, with several Vikings ready to make their mark on the ice. Leading the way is senior Connor Svaranowic, joined by junior Marshall Hosack and Michael Cox and sophomores Gunner, Reese and with Aiden Ritchart in net
The regular season will get underway in October, and we will be posting the full schedule as soon as it becomes available. Home games will be played at Brady’s Run, giving local fans plenty of opportunities to come out and support the team.
With a mix of experienced upperclassmen and talented younger players, the team is ready to work hard, build chemistry and compete throughout the season. We look forward to seeing a strong presence from our Hopewell players and fans as this team works toward making a deep run and earning a spot in the playoffs this year.
The season is just getting started, and we can’t wait to watch these athletes lace up and represent their schools with pride.  Roll Vikes!Â
