Former Hopewell K Rocco Marcantonio Makes 1st College Field Goal

The Hopewell Vikings HS football kicks off the 2026 season tomorrow night when they host No. 1 ranked Avonworth.

Tonight, a former Hopewell standout made his college debut.

Kicker Rocco Marcantonio and the Mercyhurst Lakers opened up their season tonight as they took on Youngstown State.

On their opening drive, Mercyhurst was stopped inside the redzone and Marcantonio came on and connected on a short FG attempt.

Congrats Rocco and hopefully that’s the first of many in your college career.
