Mike Vukovcan HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP– After playing a packed schedule, the Hopewell 6th Grade Girls Gold travel basketball team got a bit of a break to rest up and practice.
This morning, the Lady Vikings returned to action as they took on the neighboring squad from Our Lady of Fatima.
This morning’s game was more of a defensive battle and was tied at halftime but in the end, the Lady Vikings did enough to come away with a 13-12 victory.
The Gold team was led in scoring by Sofia Cronin with seven points, followed by MacKenzie Bellomo (2 points), Alaina Jacobs (2 points) and Flora Marocco with 2 points.
VSN wanted to mention that Charlotte Kovell led the Fatima team with 6 points. Nice job!

The Hopewell Gold travel team is next in action on Wednesday as they’ll take on the Beaver 6th grade Maroon team.
