What a night at Tony Dorsett Stadium as the Hopewell Vikings Boys soccer team took on Knoch in the 1st round of the WPIAL playoffs.
Plenty of drama as the game remained scoreless after regulation play. Hopewell certainly had the better chances but were unable to convert,
The match then moved to overtime and the Vikings ended things early. 8 minutes into OT, Justin Dennis found Quincy Sannan on the left side of the net and after collecting the feed, Sannan didn’t waste the opportunity and buried the shot past the Knoch goalkeeper.
Hopewell wins 1-0!
After the game, Vikings Sports Now talked with Hopewell HC Ben Bezems, goalkeeper Tallon Coleman, defender Elijah Persi-Jones and the hero of the night Quincy Sannan.
