Winning is Fun is something we like to say which made last night at Tony Dorsett Stadium so much fun.
The Hopewell Boys soccer team opened up the 2026 WPIAL playoffs with a 1-0 overtime win over Knoch.
8 minutes into OT, senior Quincy Sannan buried a shot from the slot to send Hopewell home victorious and into the 2nd round against No. 2 Deer Lakes.
The win was even more memorable because the 9 seniors on the Hopewell roster were able to earn a win in their last home game.
Viking Sports Now photographer Dave Bulebush was there and took some awesome shots, including the GW goal by Sannan and an incredible diving save by Vikings goalkeeper Tallon Coleman, who recorded another shutout.
