The two words that fans of baseball love to hear will be said this afternoon at Shenango High School as the Hopewell High School Baseball team opens their 2025 season.
Hopewell softball and youth baseball is sponsored by Lisa McCoy, your neighborhood State Farm agent.
The Vikings will have 19 regular season games with the regular season concluding on May 9th against West Allegheny. After that, the expectation is for this team to then start preparing for what they hope is a long run in the WPIAL playoffs.
Time will tell as to whether or not this team can turn those dreams into reality.
Sections were aligned during the offseason and here are the teams that Hopewell will be competing against in Section 1: Ambridge, Beaver, Blackhawk, Central Valley, Hampton and North Catholic, which is being looked at as one of the top teams in all of Class 4A.
