Mike Vukovcan While the 2024-25 season didn’t go as they had hoped, the Hopewell High School Boys basketball team were able to end things with a win.
In the season regular season finale last night, the Vikings were able to close things out with a 74-52 win over the Ambridge Bridgers at Hopewell High School.
This allowed Hopewell seniors Zack Kovell, Zack Gigliotti, Thomas Pipkins III., Mike Brown and Aaron Dickhart to go out with a win in their last home game.
For the season, Hopewell finished with a record of 9-12 and 3-7 in Class 4A, Section 2. Hopewell missed qualifying for the playoffs by just one game.
Because of the size of victory, this was a game that allowed the entire Hopewell roster to see playing time.
