Hopewell Junior High Soccer Shut Out Southside in 4–0 Victory
The Hopewell Junior High Soccer team put together a complete performance to earn a 4–0 win over Southside.
The Vikings struck first in the opening half when Enzo Crisci found the back of the net, giving Hopewell the early advantage. The defense held firm through the remainder of the half, sending the team into the break with a 1–0 lead.
In the second half, the offense opened up. Josh Liptak extended the lead with a clean finish to make it 2–0. Shortly after, Ben Gibson capitalized on a perfectly placed throw-in from Dylan Akron, driving home Hopewell’s third goal. The final score came off a corner kick from Julian Swenson, who delivered a well-placed ball that Crisci buried for his second goal of the game.

The win was secured by a defensive shutout in net, with Josh Sutton and Gabe Stumpf combining for a clean sheet and several key stops to keep Southside off the board.
