Mike Vukovcan The Hopewell Vikings are off to a 2-0 start following their 35-20 win over Chartiers Valley.
With the win, Hopewell remains the No. 1 ranked team in Class 3A according to various media outlets throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Things won’t get any easier this Friday for Coach Mottes and his program. For the second time this season, Hopewell will be taking on a Top 5 ranked team in Class 3A.
Imani Chrisitan, one of the most talented programs and a team that played in the 3A championship game last season against Avonworth, will be the challenge this week. Imani Christian is led by 2027 4-star quarterback and defensive back Gabe Jenkins, who is currently committed to Deion Sanders and Colorado.
