Prior to officially graduation next Thursday, several athletes Hopewell athletes made things official with their future schools.
On Friday night, 8 Hopewell athletes signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in high school.
Congratulations to Allie Ramaley, Caylee Sundy, Rocco Marcantonio, Charlie Smetana, Ben McDonald, Drew Donovan, Kingston Krotec and John Sakson.
Sundy will be taking her basketball skills to play at Thiel College. This is great news considering the injuries that Caylee had to overcome. This is a tremendous addition for the Thiel basketball program.

While she was a 3-sport athlete at Hopewell, Ramaley will be playing softball at Pitt-Bradford, who are getting the ultimate competitor. Good luck Allie!

Marcantonio was also a multiple sports standout at Hopewell, but Rocco chose to play football and will be kicking at Mercyhurst. Like with Sundy, Marcantonio is a great get for the Mercyhurst program. VSN looks forward to following and reporting on Rocco in college.
Sakson was a teammate of Marcantonio on the Hopewell boys’ soccer team and will be taking his talents to play at Allegheny College. Best of luck John!

Earlier this year, Logan Triscila, another member of the baseball team, signed on to play football at Geneva. So, five seniors on this year’s team will be playing sports in college, pretty impressive.
