Mike Vukovcan HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP– In 10 days, the Hopewell Girls volleyball team will start what they hope is a long journey that eventually takes them to a return spot in the WPIAL Championship match.
Winning programs in any sport are able to withstand the loss of players to graduation or transfer because of talent within the program. Great teams are the result of talented players in a class; great programs have talent spread out throughout different grade levels.
Make no mistake about it, Hopewell Girls Volleyball is a great program.
Despite losing 5 players and 3 major contributors to last year’s team, Hopewell is in position to make another run at trying to win a championship.
This morning, Vikings Sports Now attended practice and afterwards spoke to the 3 seniors on this year’s team- Briana Inderelst, Lahna Murray and Bella Ceccarelli.
