Hopewell Township- With Hopewell High School Baseball program losing 7 players to graduation, HC Morgan Singletary will be looking for a new core of players to step up and carry on the winning tradition.
While it may take some time due to youth and inexperience, the Hopewell pipeline has talent and it will all depend on how quick players can develop and handle their new roles.
Established in 1986, family owned and serving the Beaver County community for over 40 years. Serving breakfast favorites and lunch specials.
Fortunately a large portion of these players are participating in summer Colt League games. These games are allowing these players to face Beaver County competition as well as developing a team chemistry.

A&S Federal Credit Union are proud sponsors of Hopewell Boys and Girls High School, Junior High and Youth Sports.
Tonight, Hopewell hosted Ambridge and thanks to strong pitching and timely hitting, the Vikings came away with a 6-1 win.
Jaxsen Covalt got the start and was fabulous as he pitched a complete game. Covalt went 7 innings, allowing 7 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.

Hopewell’s Jaxsen Covalt
A big time effort by Covalt as he threw 99 pitches, 62 of which were strikes.
Offensively, Luke Vukovcan went 2-2, including 2 walks. One of the hits was a deep double to left field.
First baseman Andrew Arzberger was 2-4 with 4 RBIs. Covalt also got it done at the plate as he went 2-3 and a walk.
Shortstop Ethan Adams did a nice job from the No. 2 hole in the lineup as he reached base 3 times (1 hit and 2 walks).
Covalt received solid play behind him in the field as Adams played a solid game at short as did Owen Ackerman at second and Henry Dunn at third.
The win improved Hopewell’s record to 3-4 as they’ll return to action on Monday when they travel to Quaker Valley.
