Mike Vukovcan SEWICKLEY-Â The Hopewell Boys Junior High 2014-25 season came to a conclusion this afternoon as the Vikings traveled to take on Quaker Valley.
In their first meeting against the Quakers, Hopewell lost by 4 points. This afternoon, despite being down two starters (illness), Hopewell competed well but eventually ended up losing in overtime by 4 points.
Hopewell led by 8 points at the start of the 4th quarter but couldn’t close things out. Vikings Sports Now wanted to recognize Andrew Arzberger for his play today as he was the best player on the court.
Andrew’s compete level on the offensive and defensive boards, along with his defense in general and offensive play underneath was his best performance in a Hopewell uniform.
Instead of you reading my recap, since this was their last game as junior high players, VSN recorded the entire game and split them up into 5 segments (First thru Fourth Quarter plus Overtime).
