Hopewell’s 34-14 win over No. 1 ranked Avonworth produced many story storylines.
Arguably the most eye-opening performance of the night was the Randy Moss like effort of junior wide receiver Avery Bokor.
Some might feel that’s an exaggeration but if you were one of the fans in attendance last night you would’ve seen that was the case. Bokor had two incredible catches in which he jumped over the cornerback. He would’ve had three if not for a questionable offensive pass interference called on a touchdown reception from James Armstrong.
On the evening, Bokor finished with 4 receptions for 141 yards.
