Mike Vukovcan Despite finishing as runners-up to Avonworth in the WPIAL Class AA Volleyball Championship, the Hopewell Vikings season isn’t over with.
Because they advanced to the finals, Hopewell received an automatic bid to the PIAA Volleyball Championship.
On Sunday, the Lady Vikings found out their 1st round opponent, and it’ll be Bald Eagle High School. The match will take place tomorrow night, starting at 6 PM. Unfortunately, Hopewell will have to travel to Bald Eagle High School, which is a 3+ hour bus ride.

The WPIAL Girls Volleyball Coaches Association announced its annual WPIAL all-star teams today. A total of 120 players (30 in each classification) have been recognized and 3 Hopewell players made this All-Star team.
Congratulations to Bella Ceccarelli, Briana Inderlest and Lahna Murray.
