With the Hopewell Vikings football team starting what we hope is a long run in both the WPIAL and PIAA playoffs, the 2026 Fall sports season is still going.
However, the winter sports season will be here before we know it which means the Hopewell Boys basketball season will be trying to compete for a section championship and more.
Established in 1986, family owned and serving the Beaver County community for over 40 years. Serving breakfast favorites and lunch specials.
HC Doug Biega will be returning a very talented roster that qualified and made a run in the 2025-26 WPIAL playoffs.
For the last couple of months, Biega and his coaches have held open gym sessions, which have allowed young players in the system to develop.

While a large group of the core players, such as James Armstrong, Brody Rock, Tre Cameron, Avery Bokor, Javion Lindsey, are involved in football, ‘veterans’ such as Jack Biega, Justin Shegog, Jeremy Benninghoff, Zack Sampson, Jackson Yurcina have been getting tons of work in on the court.
Vikings Sports Now sat in on a recent open gym and had a chance to talk with Shegog and Benninghofff about their progress and the upcoming season.
