Ambridge- Tonight’s outcome was never in doubt and actually was known before the game.

Ambridge is a young, rebuilding program and Hopewell HC Matt Mottes has tremendous respect for Ambridge HC Sherman McBride from their days at Aliquippa.

Because of that, Mottes and Hopewell wanted to play and win this game with respect.

Mission accomplished as Hopewell built up a 42-0 lead early in the 3rd quarter before pulling a majority of their starters.

With a running click throughout the entire 2nd half, Hopewell went on to a 49-2 victory. Hopewell is now 3-0 and have outscored their opponents by the combined score of 136-8.
