Mike Vukovcan As expected, programs from the Big 10 are beginning to get involved in the recruitment of Hopewell sophomore quarterback James Armstrong.
Earlier this week, Armstrong received an offer from UCLA and today, the coaching staff from Wisconsin extended him an offer.
Look for Michigan State to officially show some interest in the near future.
Wisconsin becomes the fourth Big 10 program; 18th Power 4 program and 24th overall offer for Hopewell’s 4-star quarterback.
Over the last month, Armstrong has gone on a run with received Power 4 offers which has him feeling both blessed and motivated.
“Really, I’ve really appreciated the attention I’ve been getting,” Armstrong tells VSN. “I’ve worked my whole life to be where I’m at so it’s great to be getting more attention.”
“And I’m really excited to get started (junior season). I’m ready to prove to everyone that the hype is real.”
