It was an exciting day over at Hopewell High School as three student athletes officially decided on their future plans.

Tomorrow is National Letter of Intent Day, which is when athletes officially sign with their college choice, which is what 3 members of the Hopewell football team did.

Congratulations to defensive back Julian Baldwin, offensive lineman Jeorge Desko and wide receiver Logan Triscila, who have all made the decision to continue playing football at Geneva.

This was a big moment for these players as well as their family, who were all there for the National Letter of Intent Day Signing Ceremony.

Starting with Triscila, then Baldwin and ending with Desko, each player entered the conference room and essentially signed a contract to play football and continue their education at Geneva.

Along with these players and their families, it was a special day for HC Matt Mottes, as Baldwin, Desko and Triscila are the first players to sign with college football teams since he took over as head coach.

Vikings Sports Now was happy to be in attendance and to get to talk to all three Vikings after their big day.
