Mike Vukovcan The 2025 school year officially begins tomorrow for the students in the Hopewell Area School District.
It’s also the official start of the fall sports season as all Vikings boys and girls’ sports team will be in action.
Vikings Sports Now will do our best to cover and bring you the results of these games, along with providing a bit more.
It’s going to be a perfect week of weather so in case you want to get out and watch and support the athletes, here’s a look at the boys’ and girls’ schedules.
Monday, August 25th:
-Girls High School Tennis Match vs. Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh, 3:30 PM at Hopewell Junior High School.
-Girls High School JV and HS Volleyball Match vs. Central Valley. JV Match begins at 6 PM, High School begins at 7 PM from Hopewell High School.
Tuesday, August 26th:

-Boys JV and HS Soccer Match vs. West Mifflin. JV Match begins at 6 PM, High School begins at 7:30 PM from Tony Dorsett Stadium.
Thursday, August 28th:
-Girls High School Tennis Match vs. Keystone Oaks, 3:30 PM at Keystone Oaks High School
-Girls High School Volleyball Match vs. Blackhawk. JV at 6 PM, Varsity at 7 PM from Blackhawk High School.
-Girls High School Soccer Match vs. North Catholic High School, 6:30 PM from Tony Dorsett Stadium.
Friday, August 29th:
-Boys High School Football vs. New Castle, 7 PM from Tony Dorsett Stadium.
Saturday, August 30th:
-Boys’ HS Soccer Match vs. Ellwood City, Noon from Ellwood City High School.
