Hookstown- Hopewell’s Team Daley’s Coach Pitch got back in the winning column tonight with a 10-6 win tonight over South Side.
The key to tonight’s win was the production that Hopewell received from everyone in the lineup.
Grayson Oblinger had his best game of the season as he collected 3 hits and recorded a key out at third base. Max Kokan hit the ball well and collected 3 important RBIs.
Adley Faust was moved to the leadoff spot and was a big spark going 2-for-4.
Hitters two thru five in Hopewell’s lineup were very productive. Harper Lavia, Brady Daley, Hudson Lavia and Will Vukovcan went 13 for 16. Hudson was a beast at the cleanup spot driving in 2 runs and collecting 3 hits to the outfield. Vukovcan did his job at the No. 5 collecting 2 hits and driving in 3 runs.
Hopewell went to the last inning leading only 5-4 but scored 5 runs in the top of the sixth. A big hit in that inning was a 2-run double by Cameron Baker.
Hopewell is off until next week when they host Freedom on Monday.
