As we’ve done all calendar year, Vikings Sports Now is tracking Zoe Scully as he develops in martial arts.

Back in June, the talented and tough 11-year-old from Hopewell achieved her goal of reaching 1st degree black belt status.

That’s not the end of Scully’s journey as we’re excited to provide you with another update.

Zoe recently made a decision and moved to a new Dojo in order to continue her studies in Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do. Scully now trains under Master Matthew Reece at MTR Martial Arts LLC in Center Twp.

Scully competed in one of two categories: 1) Advanced Belt Weapons with her Bo Staff (Ages 9-14) 2) Advanced Belt Girls Sparring (Ages 11-12).

We’re excited to report that Scully took 3rd place in both events!! Nice job Zoe.

Next up, she will be taking part in upcoming tournaments at the start of 2026 and will train to get better in this demanding sport.

Best of Luck Zoe!
