Vikings Sports Now wanted to let you know about an event going on in town this weekend, with the hopes that you’ll take time to attend.

Starting Friday night, the Hopewell Junior High Musical crew will be performing “Willy Wonka Jr!

May be a graphic of bubble gum and text that says 'Roald Dohi's Willy Wonka JR.'

The performances will be held on Friday (November 21st) at 7 PM and Saturday (November 22) at 2:00 and 7:00 PM at the Hopewell High School auditorium.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and senior seniors. You can reserve tickets on-line at hmjhs.booktix.com or tickets can be purchased at the door.

I’m told that the runtime for the show will be approximately one-hour.

There will be concessions with refreshments/snacks and a tribute table with items to purchase.

This is a big weekend for the 67 junior high school participating in the musical and the 14 high schoolers participating in student production. This talented group of performers have been preparing for this since September with their script reads.

This is also a huge night for Sarah Bober as it’s the first show that she’ll be in charge of producing at Hopewell.

Good luck to everyone involved and we encourage everyone to attend and hope it’s a full auditorium on Friday and Saturday.
