The Hopewell junior high girls’ basketball teams played at home Wednesday afternoon against Montour. While the 7th grade team keeps fighting, only the 8th graders came away with a win.Â
The 7th grade held their own but couldn’t pull out the win against a strong Montour defense.

Rilynn Davis was the top scorer once again putting up 26 of the 30 points scored by the Vikings. Mackenzie Bellomo had the other 4.
The Hopewell 8th grade team continues their winning streak with a 49-38 win. The girls battled hard during the close game but pulled ahead in the third period by scoring 19 points.
The top scorer, Amiyah Shell, had 21 points followed by Arionna Shell with 14, Afton Budris with 6, Dallas Boyd with 4, Rilynn Davis with 2 and Callie Sadler and Vanessa Kurta each with 1.
