The Hopewell junior high girls’ basketball teams played at home today against Central Valley and came away with a split only this time the 7th grade came away with the win.Â
The 7th grade girls opened strong scoring half their points in the first quarter. In the first half Hopewell outscored Central Valley 24-10. The end result was a commanding 41-14 win!
Rilynn Davis had 20 points while Isla Rock came away with 8, Sophia Cronin had 4, Callie Sadler had 3 and Vanessa Kurta, Nevaeh Pope and Gia Yurcina each had 2.

The Hopewell 8th grader girls played tough but couldn’t get out ahead. They ended their winning streak with a 51-29 loss.
Afton Budris was the high scorer today with 14 points (and a game high), Amiyah Shell had 8, Rilynn Davis had 4 and Ellie McCoy had 3.
The girls take on Blackhawk tomorrow away to close out their season. Great job girls!
