Wanted to make you aware of something very important that’s been started by the board of directors of Hopewell Youth Baseball and hoping you can get involved.
Youth Baseball has started a community donation program called ‘Hopewell’s Second Swing’ which has been created to give gently used baseball equipment to kids in our community that want to play but many not have or be able to afford all the gear they need.
Established in 1986, family owned and serving the Beaver County community for over 40 years. Serving breakfast favorites and lunch specials.
If you still have baseball equipment from when your kids played down at Kane Road and it’s not going to be used, please consider donating it to ‘Hopewell’s Second Swing’.
Next Saturday, a week from today (August 22nd), they’ll be collecting it from 9AM until Noon at the Kane Road Fields.
If you have bats, gloves, cleats, helmets, catcher’s gear, baseball bags that are no longer being used, please consider donating them next Saturday.
Pick-ups will be scheduled weekly as items become available.
If your child is in need of baseball equipment, please email Christinamariebaughman@gmail.com with the item(s) and size you’re looking for. They’ll check the inventory to see if there’s a match!
