In order for a school district to have a successful sports program/league it needs to have strength from the varsity team that trickles down to the youth teams.
If the junior high and youth programs aren’t strong, success and proper player development won’t take place.
New Hopewell Boys Basketball Coach Doug Biega realizes this and isn’t wasting any time getting to work on taking a look and working with the young players in our district.
Biega has announced that he and his coaching staff will be hosting an upcoming Summer Skills Camp for Girls and Boys in Hopewell.
Something to note is that this camp will be taking place from June 9th thru the 12th, so you only have a couple of weeks to sign up. Deadline to Return Registration is May 23rd.
Not only will Coach Biega be instructing, but the camp will also include current and former Division 1 athletes, current and former professional athletes, current and former high school and college coaches.
Your son and daughter will be taught and will learn basketball from people who know and can play the game.
