Mike Vukovcan Although high school volleyball has been over for months now, the sport of volleyball is never really over with as it’s a year-round sport.
Like it is with basketball, AAU, travel or club leagues are a big element of volleyball as it’s a way for players to continue to play and refine their skills as well as being able to get noticed by potential colleges.
A number of players from the Hopewell Girl’s Volleyball program that participate in travel volleyball, and you have the chance to check them out this weekend.
The Steel City Freeze is coming on Saturday to the David L Lawrence Convention Center and a number of Hopewell athletes will be in action.
